FYI - Here is a tip for directing:
There were a couple of infractions that I would like to bring to your attention. What is a penalty card? When is it major and when is it minor? How do you dispose of a minor penalty card? How do you dispose of a major penalty card? Only the director can designate a penalty card, so call the director before you complicate the infraction. A revoke is established when a member of the offending side plays to the next trick. This includes declarer making a call from dummy. When a revoke is established and the offender won the revoke trick, that trick plus one more trick won by the offending side is transferred to the non-offending side. This is for a total of 2 tricks. If no more tricks are won, then the non-offenders only get one trick. If equity is impaired as a result of the revoke, the director must restore equity and more than 2 tricks may be awarded.
